Wrought alloys long cylindrical ingots
Wrought alloys long cylindrical ingots
- GOST 4784-2019:
D16h, B95pch
- The ingots have a fine-grained equiaxed structure without the dditional modifying additives use.
- The non-homogenized ingots plasticity cast in an electromagnetic field is higher than homogenized ingots cast in a slip crystallizer.
- The rods mechanical properties and profiles produced from non-homogenized ingots exceed the regulatory documentation values and are higher than the values obtained for similar products from ingots cast in a slip crystallizer.
- Metal flow high rate, especially at the beginning of pressing, and the higher mechanical properties of rods and profiles are explained by the the ingots dispersed structure due to the their high cooling rate during the electromagnetic crystallization.
- Ingots produced by the Scientific and Production Center of Magnetic Hydrodynamics are used in the production of rods and thin-walled sections for aerospace applications.
Ingots are supplied as cylindrical ingots.
Ingot diameter: from 9.0 to 70.0 mm.
Ingot length: up to 1400.0 mm.
