The Union of Mechanical Engineers and the Research and Production Center of Magnetic Hydrodynamics visited the Taishet Aluminum Plant.

Contracts for the design, manufacture, and commissioning of electric tilting holding furnaces and a gas-fired smelting furnace will be completed in 2025. As part of the Russian government's policy of manufacturing complex metallurgical equipment in Russia, a program for production localization and import substitution is being implemented in Russia in collaboration with the All-Russian Public Organization "Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia". The Taishet Aluminum Smelter commissioning is a major achievement in the modern history of the Russian Federation, and Russian enterprises were involved in its construction. The smelter is equipped with modern domestic equipment, including from the Research and Production Center of Magnet Hydrodynamics, Russiain Mechanical Engineers Union member.

On February 12, a joint visit of representatives RPC Magnet Hydrodynamics and Union of Mechanical Engineers Krasnoyarsk branch  to the Taishet Aluminum Smelter. During the visit, the delegation met with technical specialists and the smelter's administration, as well as demonstrated the melting and casting equipment supplied by the Scientific and Production Center of Magnetic Hydrodynamics.
