EM Vortex
The device is designed for contactless vortex creation in liquid metal for loading particles of varying conductivity, density, shape, and size. This device effectively remelts small metal scraps.
The melt rotational motion is generated by the magnetic field of an arc induction machine. The special inner surface shape of the loading chamber causes the melt to move along a helical trajectory.
The main advantage is the closed channels absence, which are prone to clogging and destruction. Mass transfer from the loading chamber to the main furnace volume occurs through a single, flat, semi-open channel. This design significantly simplifies maintenance and eliminates the need for furnace shutdowns.
