Сathode sections heating installation
The electric heated batch furnace is designed for the bottom sections preheating for use in metallurgical plants foundries.
The furnaces use made possible to eliminate gas heating, increase energy efficiency and achieve the characteristics required in accordance with the technological production regulations, in particular, temperature distribution uniformity over the bottom block surface and steel blooms.
The equipment's efficiency is confirmed by the reliable and long-term operation of the cathode sections in electrolytic cells of the S-8B, S8BM, and OA-300M2 types.
Various versions of this equipment have been installed at aluminum smelters in Krasnoyarsk, Shelekhov, and Bratsk.
