It is a power supply that is part of the EM stirring system and is designed to provide the required current waveform supplied to the inductor by means of pulse‑width modulation. It comprises a set of equipment for frequency conversion, emergency dump of magnetic‑field energy, voltage regulation, reactive‑power compensation, inductor diagnostics and control. It features a modular design that enables quick maintenance with minimal equipment downtime.
