High frequency current sources

High frequency current sources

High frequency current sources are designed to operate as high-frequency generators in induction heating systems. They are used in conjunction with a transformer-matching device. The key feature of this source is its ability to act as a current source, which is necessary for stabilizing the free surface of liquid metal in processes such as suspended melting, electromagnetic casting, zone remelting, and so on. They can also be used in standard electrothermal systems (forge induction heaters, induction crucible furnaces).
