This project facilitates the innovative materials development for industries requiring high-strength structural solutions and expands fundamental knowledge about the structure and aluminum alloys phase composition.

Results

Phase composition analysis, structure, and properties of high-strength 7XXX series aluminum alloys was conducted. A multidisciplinary numerical analysis of the aluminum ingot crystallization process in an electromagnetic field was performed. The casting process operating parameters were determined.
